Brett – Logistics Coordinator and Host, Tanzania

Brett is an American endurance athlete with an addiction to international travel.  He has run, cycled, and swum in over a dozen countries, racing distances from 1500 meters to 90K to Ironman.  Brett’s M35-39 age group running times are 20:10 (5K), 1:35 (HalfM), 3:31 (Mar), and 8:55 (56Mi).  He is currently training for his first 100-mile running race.

Brett brings twenty years of international travel experience to Red Knot Racing as well as over twenty years of involvement in endurance events — as a participant, coach, and race organizer.

Brett has lived in Geita, Tanzania for six years, speaks Swahili, and is now studying his second Tanzanian language.  His favorite runs these days are over a small mountain in a nearby national forest.

If you join one of Red Knot’s premier running packages, Brett will be your host in Tanzania — with you for your entire trip, from meeting you at the airport to seeing you off after your vacation of a lifetime.  And in between he’ll take you on some beautiful runs in the country he now calls home.
